Dhaka Metro Rail Overview

Dhaka, known as one of the megacities in the world, capital of millions of people from across Bangladesh. When you step up on a road in Dhaka, you would notice how fast the life of residents is going every day. Without a lockdown, in the surge of the pandemic, the inhabitants used to lead their lives to cope up with the curse of the city’s heavy traffic on roads.

It would not be an exaggeration If someone claims that approximately within four hours he reached Dhaka airport yet could not check in his hotel in Gulshan, only a few kilometers away from the airport, at the following time he took to move from one country to another country. You cannot analyze or cover up the time that the residents waste on a regular basis by sticking on the road. Sometimes your watch goes too fast, the indicator moves on for two or three hours, but your vehicle cannot proceed a single step on!

In a sarcastic scene you also observe that while the transportations are getting stuck on the road, drivers of public transportation start off the engines, take a rest, participate in gossip, even take a nap on the bus but do not know when they can kick off their engine.

But every hassle has an end, residents of the city are totally fed upon their life, eagerly waiting for the alternative that would make their life easy, searching for a remedy from heavy traffic.
